Russian Video: The Great Lent in Russia!

Hello,

Joyful Maslenitsa is over. And now there is the Great Lent in Russia: forty-eight days of fasting and prayer before Easter (19th of April, 2009)… only two days during this period Orthodox Christians allowed to eat fish, and no fish, meats, eggs, milk etc for the rest 46 days… But the main thing about the Great Lent is to try to change yourself, try to become a better person. And as always priests tell it is not that important what food you will not eat the main thing is not to eat your close, don’t accuse people who does not keep fasting.
