Since when Russia is celebrating Thanksgiving? Or am I missing something here? It looks like this is a Baptist Church with a lot of American influence, if they are celebrating no-Russian Holiday. I haven’t been in Russia for awhile, so maybe a lot of changes have happened for 7 years.
Yes, looks like some kind of protestant church. So what? Is Russia a reservation museum? Or are they no Russians, who belong to other churches?
Mandelstam for example was christened Methodist. AND born a Jew. And yet wrote the most exquisit Russian poetry.
