Today is Saturday and as always we watch a full-time movie on Russian Video from Russia. Today we will watch a favorite animated movie of my childhood.

Today we will watch a full-time Russian cartoon “The Mistery of the Third Planet” (or “The Secret of the Third Planet “/Тайна Третьей Планеты). This cartoon is screen version of the same name novel by the outstanding Russian science fiction writer Kir Bulychev. This cartoon was made in 1981. They tried twice to adapt this cartoon for US market but they failed both times so we are watching the Russian (Soviet) original with English subtitles.
