We can not leave alone the unusual weather in Moscow this winter. Really, we hardly call it winter because it became slight minus just few days ago and we don’t have any snow at the middle od December. How it’s harmful for (Middle) Russian ecology we will find out in this video:

Russian Video: Fitness and Aerobics World Championships 2008

Hello,

The FISAF World Fitness Championship [2-7.12.2008] is over in Dubna (Town in Moscow Area, with population of 60 951, 125 km from Moscow), Russia. This was a great show of sport. And Russian team won the step dancing event!

People consider aerobics and fitness as the safest sport activities today. Maybe it’s true but when I watched the championship I realized that all participators have a very serious sport skills. I bet most of them came to aerobics after training for serious sports as gyms an etc.

What do you think about the competition and skills of participators?

Russian Video: Ordinary Miracle (movie)!

Hello,

This weekend we will watch a very beautiful and romantic movie “An Ordinary Miracle” (Обыкновенное чудо), 1978. The movie made as fairy-tale has a deep meaning inside. It’s very beautiful and musical and looks a little bit like theater. And that is not strange because this movie is based on Evgeny Shvarts play and director of this movie is one of the best theatric director of that time Mark Zakharov.

So let’s watch and enjoy this movie. How I read in one article the movie must been watched for everyone who wants to understand Russian culture!

Russian Video: Head of Russian Orthodox Church Aleksy II Died.

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Partiarch Aleksy II, has died. He passed away at his home near Moscow. The Church leader, 79, had been ill in recent years and had undergone several operations.

When we have raining in Moscow (Unbelievable! It’s raining in December!!!) some places in Russia have real winter. Russia Today tells us about one of such places: The coldest town on earth! Don’t be in hurry to wish be rather there: it’s -70C there now.
